Jennifer believes that a supportive and joyful experience serves as the foundation for healing and change! Primarily seeing children for therapy at this time, Jennifer uses client centered play and activity, as well as directive activity, with elements of cognitive behavioral therapy and social and emotional skill development to provide therapy for anxiety or depression, adjustment to family change, grief and loss, struggles with school or peers, attachment needs, and experiences of high stress or trauma. Jennifer believes that a strong partnership with caregivers is key for the therapy process, and greatly enjoys providing parent support and coaching as desired.
Trauma informed, culturally responsive, and LGBTQ affirming, Jennifer brings over 20 years of clinical experience to her practice as a child and family therapist.
